Meet Mihir - The man who is 'popping' his way into our taste-buds with REAL spices and seasoning!
I would like you to meet Mihir. He worked in the restaurant business for over a decade, and being the food connoisseur that he is, he wanted to continue working with food, whilst making a sideways step outside of restaurants. He started in his kitchen, met with focus groups, created a business plan, sourced suppliers and a co-packer, and 8 months later, Spice and Infused was born!

What does Spice and Infused specialise in selling?
We create all natural, healthy, and unique-flavored snacks by using the benefits of real spices that give a “punch” of flavour. We believe in health and simplicity so our products are minimally processed.
Where is Spice and Infused based?
Chicago.
Do you exclusively serve those who are local to you or can others who are further away access your products too? If so, how?
Our products can be found in local stores in Chicago, and they can also bought online at Amazon.com, Abesmarket.com, or through our website store.spicedandinfused.com
What inspired you to create a business that solely focuses on vegan popcorn?
We didn't set out to be vegan but during in store demos customers expressed an interest in whether it was vegan or not. Others realised that it was vegan by chance and spoke with us about how happy they were about this. It became very popular with vegans and vegetarians.
How easy is it for you to source cruelty free ingredients for your products?
Pretty easily
Do these ingredients effect the outcome in comparison with non-vegan popcorn?
It is hard to compare since we don't replicate non-vegan flavors into vegan recipes. We make very unique flavors and most of our customers think ours taste better - vegan or not!
For someone who hasn't tasted your popcorn before & is indecisive about what to buy; is there a particularly popular one you can name?
Tough to say, but currently our Asian Barbecue and Bombay Seasoning flavors are the most popular.
Is Spice and Infused owned by, or in partnership with, another company that tests on animals or sells non-vegan products?
We are not.
Tell me a bit about yourself before you launched Spice and Infused?
In a nutshell, I am a cancer survivor and heart transplant recipient. My background is in hospitality and IT and I have a MBA.
What is your vision for the future of Spice and Infused?
To create new products using simple and healthy ingredients to provide better choices for consumers.
