Eating out: Coach and Horses
A vegetarian pub in London?
I found out about the Coach and Horses being 100% vegetarian and couldn't wait to check it out! I later found out that they have vegan options, which made me even more excited!
I was a bit dubious about what the food would be like. Would it only include burgers? Would there be dessert? Would there be lots of vegans options?
My experience of eating at the Coach and Horses
Oh my! The food was lovely and they had lots of savoury AND sweet options. It was great!
The friend I went with isn't vegan, but he was happy to choose vegan options, so that we could share them.
The dining area was quite small. I enjoyed it. It was intimate and quiet.
The service we got was great! The staff knew which items were vegan, or if/how they could be made vegan. The food was served quickly and I liked the presentation of it too.
It didn't feel like a pub lunch. I would definitely go again! However, while I was eyeing up what the others were eating, I realised that they also have vegan afternoon tea, so I wouldn't mind trying that next time!
