Vegan options in Wenzel's
What’s with the bag?
Well…after we came out of the first lockdown and businesses opened up (with restrictions) we fancied takeaway and we wanted to support a local business, so we went to Wenzel’s and got a few bits.
I hadn’t been there in a while and didn’t realise that their vegan options had increased so much!

This is what we got:
Vegan Cheese, Salsa and Salad in the Multiseed Baguette
A Yummie &
A Belgian Bun
Hubby popped into Wenzel’s more recently and treated us to a Chelsea Bun.
My thoughts about the vegan options in Wenzel’s
First of all, I love the fact that, if you scroll down to the bottom of their website they have a link showing their ‘allergen info’ and ‘vegan menu.’
I also love that they’re not a huge chain.
Lastly, I think they have lots of vegan options, which show how easy it to be vegan and not feel like you’re doing without. They have a range of vegan bread, savoury options, such as pastries, as well as numerous sweet options.
For those who think that going vegan means you can’t have Belgian Buns, Swiss Buns or Donuts, for example, Wenzel’s will break that myth with their delightful products.
Various bits of information from Wenzel’s
Their allergen information - this is very clear and easy to follow
The product manual from December 2019 - great for if you want to see photos of what they sell
