Dining out: Ethos
A new meat-free restaurant opens in London
I had the pleasure of eating at Ethos a couple of weeks ago. It hasn't been open long, but it's busy and popular already!
Eating in Ethos
So...as you go in, there's a modern, funky, happening, yet cosy feel to it. That was a great start! Within a few seconds, one of the waiters came and asked us if we'd been there before. When we said we hadn't, he was really helpful in showing us how the food is labelled, where the plates are and where we need to go to weight it. If you're wondering why the food needs to be weighed...it's priced according to weight.
Generally, anything with potato in it is heavy, so that's something to keep in mind.
There were so many vegan options! I was spoilt for choice!
I filled my plate with as much as I could, got it weighed and started a tab. We enjoyed our meal without any pressure to speed up, even though they got really busy within a short period of time. After a little break, we got some desserts, got them weighed and then paid up after we finished.
Summary of my experience of eating in Ethos
The process was easy and smooth.
The meal was full of variety and tasty.
I would definitely go back!

Vegan food is soul food in its truest form. Soul food means to feed the soul. And, to me, your soul is your intent. If your intent is pure, you are pure.
