Plant Shift

love ♥ living ♥ vegan

Following a plant-based or vegan lifestyle, is about food, drink, clothes, shoes, body treatments, hair products and more.

It's a conscious decision to think, walk and possibly, talk a better lifestyle.

I support individuals who are thinking about making the shift, as well as, those who have already begun their plant-based journey.

Opti3Omega: a vegan supplement

One of the things that non-vegans tend to worry about, is whether vegans get all the vitamins they need. Mark, who owns Omega 3, recognised this, and created a vegan product that delivers nutrients, without the death and harm that's caused by sourcing Omega from fish. He has created an alternative which is sustainable and safe, because there's no environmental contaminants to worry about!

What is unique about Opti3 Omega?

Opti3 Omega is a plant source of EPA & DHA omega 3 fatty acids it is the highest strength of these omega 3 oils from plant on the market.

All the ingredients are 100% from plant sources. Our products are registered with Vegan Society in the UK and Vegetarian Society.

Where is Opti3Omega sourced from?

Opti3 omega comes from algae source.  The oil is made in USA and capsules made and packed in UK.

Do you exclusively serve those who are local to you or can others who are further away access your products too? If so, how?

We currently sell direct from our web site and ship globally.

What inspired you to create a business that solely focuses on one supplement?

Omega 3 is an excellent source of nutrients but when sourced from fish it is neither sustainable nor is it safe due to environmental contaminants. Omega 3 from Flax seed is also not EPA or DHA. We wanted to be able to offer a high potency source of EPA and DHA from plants, which was best on the market.

Why do you think it is important for people to take this supplement?

There are so many different reasons. Omega 3 is excellent for the heart, cognitive, joint health, as well as, supporting various mental health problems. In short people of all ages will benefit from taking Omega 3.

Is Opti3Omega owned by, or in partnership with, another company that tests on animals or sells non-vegan products?

Categorically 100% not.
Opti3 is owned by ESB Developments Limited in the UK.

Tell me a bit about yourself before you launched the Opti3Omega?

I am a formulation chemist, 25 years in the industry developing new medicines and food supplements.  I have worked for many large pharmaceutical companies until starting my own business in 2007.

What is your vision for the future of Opti3Omega?

We would like Opti3 to be sold globally in retail and pharmacy shops. Our objective is to make Opti3 as widely available as possible and to explain to the population how much better it is for them nutritionally, best value in respect of cost and of course so much better for the environment and fish!
