Afternoon Tea at The Grove
Afternoon Tea at The Grove
I’ve heard a lot about the Grove and have wanted to go for ages! I’d heard that the grounds are beautiful, that the inside of the hotel is gorgeous and that their afternoon tea is amazing!
The Grove
Everything I’d heard was true. I didn’t get to explore it fully, but what I saw of the grounds was beautiful. There were lots of things to notice without anything being overwhelming or distracting.
Where we were seated for our afternoon tea was quaint. It was comfortable, cute and intimate. That said, I would love to go back again and be seated outside, as I can imagine that sitting outside and looking onto the grounds would be stunning.
The tea
It was absolutely delicious! The sandwiches were so varied and had such interesting flavours. It was hard to choose one option when we asked for more.
The scones were presented in an interesting way. Practically, it kept them warm. I found it interesting as I’ve not been served scones in this way before.
The desserts looked and tasted wonderful!
If memory serves, we shared one plate of the desserts and from the other plate, we took all but the one in the glass, home, to enjoy later.
What’s on the menu at the moment?
Would I return to The Grove?
Definitely!
I want to explore more of the grounds and enjoy another afternoon tea.
